1925 – 2003

Painter, born in West Hartlepool, County Durham. She studied at West Hartlepool School of Art and RCA, 1944-1947 and later taught at Walthamstow Art School. Margaret Green exhibited the RA, NEAC, London Group, Leicester Galleries, William Ware Gallery, Fulham and elsewhere. She was given a solo exhibition at the New Grafton Gallery in 1972 and in 2002 David Messum exhibited her work with that of her husband Lionel Bulmer. Her work is represented in public galleries including Carlisle Art Gallery, Herbert Art Gallery, Coventry, Leeds City Art Gallery, Nottingham Castle Museum and in the GAC.
