Summer New Works

Liss Llewellyn presents ‘Summer New Works’.

We are delighted to offer for sale a selection of museum-quality works, sourced from artists’ estates and private collections.

This selection includes a painting by pre-eminent Surrealist, Marion Adnams (1898-1995), which recalls her most famous work, L’infante égarée, now part of the Manchester Art Gallery Collection. The selection also features a playful sketch by Stanley Spencer (1891-1959) depicting his wife, Hilda Carline, in a haystack; an original electro plate by Eric Ravilious (1903-1942) for Gilbert White’s Natural History of Selborne, and an oil study by Winifred Knights (1899-1947) for her mural at Canterbury Cathedral.
